We recently got an estimate for work to the outside of our house. We had the contractor figure a new driveway, a new front sidewalk, new front entry to the house and new patio in the back. The estimate came back WAAAAAAY higher than we were expecting so we can't afford to do everything. We can do the front of the house (driveway, front sidewalk and front entry) OR the back patio - not both.
My dilemma is that if we did the front, it would look beautiful and add lots of curb appeal, but we don't spend time in our front yard. If we did the back patio, the front of the house would still look run-down but we would have a great summer enjoying the patio.
What would you do????
