I like it except I would change the drapes and the things on the mantle. I might change the mirror, too. I like mixing the wicker with the other furniture and I like the colors.

I find the prints on the pillow fabric to be "bringing down" the room, which seems an uneasy blend of 'homespun' with more classic elements.

I think a more subdued type of red for the chairs, maybe a claret or garnet, would blend more harmoniously.  Would square off the conversation area into a classic "U" surrounding the hearth.

The beige ottoman looks a bit random, with the white couches. In this case, would prefer an actual coffee table.

The mantel accessories to me, are jarring with the rest of the room, would have something else to bring in the color accent.

If that is blue in the pattern of the curtain fabric, I'd bring in subtle touches of that blue in the accessories, along with a garnet red, to make the whole thing a bit more cohesive.

Jute rug could stay-- it's clear that they're trying to "relax" the feeling of the room with some of their choices.  But if there were more red and blue touches in the room, an antique Oriental rug with those colors would look rich and tie things together.

Love all the windows and French doors.

I like all the individual pieces of furniture and decor except for the mirror and other items on the mantle and all the prints of the pillows and window treatments.  I don't mind the red of the chairs but the prints don't tie in to them enough for me.  I would have preferred a wooden coffee table and end tables.  I like the basket with the tall grass but would move it elsewhere.

Bad layout...why would you put furniture in front of the French doors?

It just looks cluttered. I would get rid of the red chairs.

I completely agree @JYWilliams I would also lose the mantle knick knacks. I would add a fireplace screen to soften the black paint.

I actually like the curtains as well as the other furniture.

Not a fan of the ottoman used as a coffee table and altho I do like the wicker chairs, that red is too much like a barn to me--- that grass decor in front of the fireplace---gotta go.

Let's just say it has potential but needs tweaking. Let's start with the accessories. Replace the mirror and mantel decor and then we can move on to the pillows, weeds and possibly the drapes. Overall though, it's got some appeal and looking closely, I'll give them credit for attempting a (dreaded to me) 'semi-coastal' look without going all shades of blue and teal.

Wicker goes outdoors or sunroom....not living room!

I think the room is somewhat pleasing to the eye. The curtains add a soft movement, but I do think shutters would bring a bit more structure and detail showcasing the beautiful windows.

There is a tactile contrast between the smooth upholstered furniture and the more organic woven wicker chairs, so that is just a personal preference. I wouldn’t do it.

The pillows pale against the red. When a bold color like red is introduced, it throws off the balance. So, a bold red pillow would really work.

Love the wicker! Would replace the throw pillows with ones with interesting bold contemporary design.

I see so many suggestions and I like this one.  I would take the draperies down or either make them meld with, like you said, more contemporary cold pillows.  That's a gret idea you had.
