Re: I just finished decorating for Fall!

It's still summer in full force here in the South, I did decorate my yard & den/kitchen with Sunflower décor, which is my late summer (Aug - Sept.) theme! I won't decorate for Fall until Oct., and it may not even be cool then!

Sunflower...hmmm sounds beautiful, may have to try that theme next year. Thanks Hooty for this idea! : )

Re: I just finished decorating for Fall!

I will probably do my fall decorating towards the end of August, it really is my favorite décor that I own! I almost hate taking it down to do Christmas now, so the longer I can enjoy it the better for me. I was so happy for winter to be over this year it is hard to imagine it getting closer but unfortunatly it will be here before we know it. I say whatever floats your boat and I would be happy to see it!

I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures. I enjoy your enthusiasm, so keep on posting and ignore the naysayers. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

I've been working on a major reorganization of my garage, kitchen and home office. I've promised myself that I will finish that project before I start any new projects, so decorating for autumn will probably not happen until September for me. {#emotions_dlg.sad}

SL, I just walked inside, drenching wet with sweat after working outside in the heat (deep South) and saw your post. Fall is such a refreshing thought right about now!!!

While I may not be ready to take on Fall decorating just yet, I cannot wait to see your decorating pics.

To each his own. But after the never-ending winter we had in NE, I'm enjoying the summer and don't even want to remotely think about Fall - which to me, signifies that winter is close at hand.

Re: I just finished decorating for Fall!

if it floats her boat - then let her row it!

but number one - fall has never begun in august. as Hooty said it is still summer here in the south! and number two - i don't do fall decor until october. christmas decor goes up a week after thanksgiving. those are the only two times i will do any kind of theme decor around the house.

Re: I just finished decorating for Fall!

Sounds amazing Susan Louise! I wish I had a plan like yours.

I just pull things out helter skelter, in awe of all the things I forgot I have!!

Kids in my district are going back to school in two weeks. That signals the beginning of fall to me!!

Has anyone seen those ginormous flowers HL has in the aisles? What in the world do you do with those???
