I have a green one DH actually made way back when too. I still use it every year. Love the white tho. That would be a nice addition to the collection.

We have about 15 of these ceramic trees in various sizes and colors. Our collection started with one that use to be my aunt's, then my husband's nana and so on. We pick them up at yard sales, antique stores and such. The prices have gone up on them in the past few years. We are always on the lookout for them. It so pretty to have them all lit around the house.

Forgot to mention, places like AC Moore and Ace Hardware carry the replacement bulbs and stars.

I bought two trees in green like this last year from a You're Home with Jill show, and only one worked and I decided to keep them, because I decided to use the lights off with a Dickens Village scene!
The trees are very cute, but was disappointed that only one worked, I hope those of you that order have better luck than me!

My white tree is on it's way! I am still thinking about this white tree I referenced earlier in this post I saw at CB; $49.99 and it plugs in. I'm betting it is a lot bigger than the one that sold out in white. Anyone else been to CB and seen this tree?

Hi BTS,
I haven't been to CB for a long long time, think I need to make a trip. Did you look on their website to see if they have the white tree???
What kind of battery life does the one from the Q have???

A tree that truly tests time doesn't it? My parents (mom) had one of these in white when my sisters & I were all very little. My aunt had one, hubby's grandparents have one that we now have. His mom had one too. And somewhere through the years someone had a green one too - not sure where that one is now.
Everybody had or still has this tree. Nostolgia at its finest!

I remember women making these in ceramic class in the 1960's. LOL Green ones too.

I am soooo annoyed; I cannot for the life of me get the pic of the white tree from CB to post properly from their website. DS isn't here to help me. I think the one from the Q stated 400 hours of battery life, I'll ck again.
Wow!! If I ck back and see that I finally figured out how to post pics, I will redefine the happy Dance! I'll be a picture-postin'-fool, lol! Anyway, the CB white tree, I hope!
