Do you have a secret that makes your ironing go faster?

I love to iron, and iron nearly all of our clothing....but I generally watch shows on TV that I've DVR'd while I do it. It does help if you have a good iron, too.

I only find it necessary to iron if I sew....and that is the only reason I own and iron.

I agree with NanciJ. It goes faster when watching TV or playing music that you love.

I used to love to iron (my late Mother would even iron socks). However because I can't stand up for very long, I don't do it anymore.

I take everything to the $1.99 Zip cleaners. It's worth it. I can't stand anything wrinkled.

I take all of my sheets and pillowcases to the dry cleaners. I wash all of them (I like my detergent) and the lady who owns the cleaners irons them.

There is nothing like climbing into bed on crisp ironed sheets and pillowcases. You know like they have at the hospital?

It feels wonderful!

I don't iron. I steam everything. Honestly, works just as well and it takes a fraction of the time.

Me, too. In fact, I just picked up a new Rowenta steamer at Ross.

I used to iron our sheets, too....love the feel of crisp sheets. Now, I just change the sheets every day. We have a lot of sets of really nice king size sheets...{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}, and the feel of crawling into bed every night with fresh sheets can't be beat. I rotate our bed ensembles...comforter, dust ruffle, shams and accent pillows...with each season, which makes a nice change, too.

I have that steamer and never used it. If it's the one I have it looks like the ones they use in the stores.
