Re: I got my Olive Tree.....

@GingerHead good morning!  We recently moved, and my new to us home needed a slight change in direction concerning decor.  I knew there had been a few forum posts on olive trees in the past so did a search.  Your post came up, and as soon as I saw the photo(s) of your room, I remembered the post and remembered I commented on it back then about how beautiful your room was/is.  lol

Thank you SO MUCH for posting a screen shot!  It was so very helpful of you to take the time to do that; it is much appreciated!

And...I must encourage you to get Walmart+.  Holy cow.  I don't know how we ever did without it.  There is so much you can purchase with the free shipping option, and I'm not just talking decor.  If a local store has the item, a lot of it will show free shipping, and if you choose that option, it comes from a local store or warehouse and can be at your door THAT DAY or the next.  Many times--that day!  You can order so many things to "ship" even some grocery items like cereal, chips, trail mix, coffee...or Christmas lights, rugs, wax melts, clothing, etc.  Plus if you need to do a return, with some things, an option is offered to return it from your home.  If you select that, you pick a 4-hour window, and someone comes to your home to get the item--no standing in line to do a return.  It is great!  It's not offered on every return but on some.  No idea how they choose what you can return that way, but when I've used it, I've loved it.

Just this week, my husband ordered some wrist straps to help with his weight lifting.  He found what he wanted on the Academy Sports website and was going to go over there to get them.  It was pouring rain.  He happened to think about WM, checked the website, and lo and behold...they actually had what he wanted and the brand he wanted.  He had no idea WM even carried "better" brands of athletic items.  It was late in the day, but he chose shipping, and the straps were delivered the next morning.

Our city doesn't have this option, but some do.  You can choose to pay $40 more a year (I think it's called the Home option? It's in the WM+ settings) and get your groceries delivered to your home!  Instead of using grocery pickup, a WM associate picks your groceries AND delivers them.  No third-party is involved, and you are not allowed to tip the person who brings your groceries, because they work directly for WM.  How I wish we had that here!  lol

I hope you have a very blessed day!

Yes, Walmart has really stepped up their game in the last couple of years! I really can't believe what you get for the prices from clothes to home decor.

I'm thinking about signing up for Walmart+ especially now that it's on special Black Friday pricing.

I say go for it!  I missed it last year and had to pay full price.  Still very much worth it to me but to save $50 is a good deal.

You may want to look at the details of InHome which is an additional $40/year.  It offers bringing in your groceries into the house, I don't need that.  I really like the selecting of items and deliveries are from a Walmart employee.  They drive this cute Walmart van all over town and make several deliveries along your route.  The delivery window is 9am - 1pm and one other later in the day.  No tipping allowed and if you don't want such a large window you can still have the regular Walmart+ deal of having an Instacart person shop and deliver your stuff, tipping isn't required but suggested.

For me tipping an average of $5/delivery with regular Walmart+ adds up.  With that tip amount the $40 Inhome pays for itself in 8 trips.
