I love this. You wonder what the old battered walls have seen. Were they happy memories, or forbidden secrets. I think it would make a great painting, and conversation piece.

No doubt a rainy day turned cold and icy, encrusting all of nature  in her beauty. When we get that kind of weather it makes  everything beautiful and sparkling like diamonds. Then the contrast of the beaten down brown building just adds to the beauty. I love the picture.

This reminds me of a painting did about 4 years ago.  I have Bob Ross dvds that I follow to paint sometimes.  There was a scene very close to this on one.

I just looked at this again, and I like to imagine a storyline of the people who lived there, what their lives were like while there, and what made them leave?  But that's me.
