I Need Recommendation for Good Cool Mist Humidifier

I bought a Vicks several months ago and it really seemed to help with allergies and sinus but I can't keep it clean. I clean it weekly like they say, taking it apart and soaking it and then reassembling; however now, I have pink stuff growing inside. It's one without a filter and I don't know if there's a difference or maybe there's another one out there that's better. So, I need a recommendation of one that really works, is easy to clean and is not super expensive. Anyone know of one that you can recommend?
