I like the view out the window, but the room needs "warming up".  Couldn't sleep here.

I once had a landlady who was into paintings. She did abstract ones and insisted on hanging them up in the flat me and my friend had rented. I did not want to upset her or be rude so I let her. But when it came to the bedroom I put my foot down. I feel bedroom space should be minimally decorated for a peaceful vibe.

I'd add all the white/seethrough fabric to make it super girly.  If it were going to be for me.  I'd probably never notice the area above the bed.

OK.  I don't see one thing not to like.  It looks fine to me, and when I was a child my bed was by windows exactly like this.  I could hear animals out in the yard and pasture, hear coyotes chattering and all sorts of things going on: cars, people walking down the street in front etc.

No, I'd be fine here.  It's not what my house looks like now, but it looks like childhood to me.
