If you have a prolonged power outage your local gas stations will not be able to pump gas if they don't have a generator. You still have time to check with your local gas stations and see if they have a generator. They need electricty to pump the gas.
In Fl. it is a state law for gas stations along the interstates to have generators. This is a state thing. This happened after the '04 Hurricanes in Fl.
Also, if you are able to let us know how you are doing it would be nice to know.
