I live in the northern Midwest. Have been running forced air heat for almost 2 months already and I am starting to feel dried up already (UGH!!) and my lips are dry and my mouth feels pasted shut in the morning!! My humidity gauge reads 40% which according to my reading online, is the ideal humidity.
What humidity do you keep your homes at in the winter or do you just go by whatever makes you comfortable.

You could always get a humidifier.
Where I am it is 65%. I like dry air except for the static electricity....

Just went and bought a new one. When I looked at my old one, I thought even with a new filter, I don't think I want to be breathing what's in there LOL!!

My eyes would be pasted shut at 40% - I'm comfortable between 50 and 60%
