How would you make this presentation?

A friend and i were shopping at goodwill and saw a seashell lamp. She had her hand on it then walked away so I put it in my cart and bought it. Since then she has mentioned more than a couple times that i got the seashell lamp so - last week another friend and I were in goodwill again and i saw it's exact twin- only empty (no seashells) so i bought it , brought it home and filled it from my extensive shell collection. I put many that were very special, nice shells in there, i ordered a shade for it from Amazon and now it is ready to give to her. My problem is I don't exactly know what to say when I take it to her. i can't exactly say "i know you have been upset that I bought the other shell lamp so I am taking this opportunity to give you one so you shut up about mine" help me find the right words .
