2 sets for out king size bed, 1 set for queen size guest bed. That's it, don't need any more. I do have a couple extra flat sheets.

Guilty here. I have so many high quality sets that are brand new. Once I got hooked on Berkshire I invested in three sets. I can't do cold so they are on my bed 9 months out of the year. I figure someday when we move I'll have another bedroom for guests so I'm not parting with any just yet

Three queen size beds. Each bed has one set of polar fleece for winter and a lighter set for summer.

Two years ago, I found myself having way to many sheet sets and running out of space to store them.  I had sets in pink, white, beige, tan, brown, green.  This was just for our king bed.  I had had enough.  I whittled it down to four sets.

Three white sets for summer and one beige Malden Mills for winter.  I learned that my hangup wasn't so much sheets, but the pillow cases.  I have four pillows  I want one pair of cases to match the sheets and a pair that is patterned in a coordinating color.  Since I have limited myself to white and beige sheets I retained enough of my old pillow cases to create diversity.

I have done the same thing with my towels, white or off white and one or two patterned that coordinate with my shower curtain color.

I have one set that I use all the time, but a couple old sets that I keep for when I have for when I go away and a dog walker stays over or for an emergency.  Yes, I use a different set for the dog walker so that I can change out the sheets quickly when I'm running to catch a plane.  But I keep my favorites for me!

I have two queen beds, and I have 5 sets of summer sheets and 5 sets of winter sheets (polar fleece and flannel) total.

I live by the "one on the bed, one in the wash and one spare set" rule when it comes to bed linens.

And I never use the same sheets over an over, but always rotate them. Sheets and especially the elastic in them will rot if they aren't used and washed regularly. I tend to get many years out of sheets doing it this way.

@Mominohio. We alternate as well. Our Spare bed(queen) has seen much use this summer as well as our single bed....
