All my winter throws are down, I wash and dry them, put in a space bag and vacuum out the air. I do the same with all my sweatshirts. Saves a lot of space.  have one micro fiber throw that I stick in a drawer.

I have several of the collapsible storage ottomans and benches, and I fold and store them in there. I wash them throughout the cold season as we are using them, before I store them, but not when I take them out in the fall again.

I have two spare bedrooms and I store my extra blankets right on the beds themselves. Put the comforter or quilt right over them and no one knows. I always wash the bedding after company leaves and sometimes again before they arrive. If I only have guests in one room then I take the extras and just put them in the other room until they leave.

Yes wash

Some throws go into baskets in various rooms and they stay there year round

Extra blankets get placed on blanket hangers and put into closets.  Every spare Bedroom has matching blankets hanging in the closet.

@FlowerBear   I wash them, then put them into a Martha Stewart 48 gallon bag.  Home Depot sells them in a set of three now.  I do the same for throw pillows.

Wash or dry clean all comforters. They go into Space Bags (you suck out the air until flat). Stack all the winter stuff in a guest room closet.

Love the Space Bags!
