This looks more country to me.

I'm not opposed to the space below the sink to be open but this is the best of both worlds.

I like it very much.  Good use of a small space.  I also think it would go with so many styles....modern, modern farmhouse, farmhouse, country, industrial,  and so on.  For a powder room or half bath I think it's great!

It reads less 'rustic' to me than 'handyman special'. I don't hate it but I don't really like it.
