I saw the movie Thursday and I've been Googling about the house. It's a Nancy Meyers movie, well her daughter wrote and directed it. Nancy is well known for the beautiful homes in her movies, my favorite is the Hamptons home in Something's Gotta Give. Most beautiful faux real home I have ever seen.

The house in Home Again is real, a 1929 Spanish style hacienda once owned by Cindy Crawford. Also Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. I couldn't find a downloadable pic of the exterior but it's available on Google.

This movie had a low budget by Hollywood standards, so they used items from places like Pottery Barn. The outside space is that, it looks so inviting.

Reese's character in the movie is an interior designer. She splits with her husband and moves from NY to CA. Her father was a famous movie director and that's part of some of the decor of the house.

This is the exterior, not the best photo with all the lush greenery. But it's so pretty. It's in Brentwood, CA.

They did very well with a low budget.  I'll take it any day!

I want to see this movie, it looks like it would be fun. As for the house, I don't tend to care much for Mediterranean style architecture, but to every rule there is an exception. It looks like a lovely home... Many of the interior design elements, though, wouldn't make my final cut...
