E or G....but actually all of them make me feel claustrophobic and/or anxious,

If I have to choose one, I pick A. I choose this because it is almost a separate little room. 

I don't like to see books on shelves like in these pictures, incorporated with the rest of the house. 

A library with beautiful elegant leather covered type books in a separate room is beautiful. But the jackets of books today are all modern and multi colored and unattractive in masses like these shelves. 

I prefer to keep shelves of books behind doors, or in an out of the way place separate from my other main rooms, as I think that when displayed like these photos, make the house look a bit messy, and detract from the other decor and style of the home.

None of them----way too tall and all I can see is what a pain to have to dust them!!  Books are too much clutter!!!

I like A the best, but I would definitely take out that wierd brown chair and add a cozier chair....

"A" would be my choice for the same reasons already given. Like @Spurt  I would replace the chair with something more comfortable and attractive. I would also look into an option that would allow me to close off the area whenever I wanted.
