Received my owl seconds ago and unpacked it, and to my dismay inside the candle near the bulb there are 2 rather large black dots. I thought at first it was just paper or something and I could shake it out or I tried using a long knitting needle to see if it was something stuck to the inside of the candle but it is permanent . How could this get by quality control? I hate sending things back but if you place it anywhere lower than eye level you will be able to see inside the candle and see these 2 black dots. I put it on my antique dresser in my kitchen * I use this as a buffet* but you can clearly see the black dots on the white resin candle. Dang it. It is really cute and I like it but not sure what to do. If I could take the candle out I might be able to use white paint and paint the dots whilte. Maybe I'll try my GD's paints and see if it would work. I realize if I do this I can't send it back but I do like it otherwise. I just think things shouldn't be sent out with obvious flaws.
