My fave sheets are 1000ct cotton---but 40% is micro fiber---60% is the cotton. Have a few sets like that in varing degrees of cotton tc. Most sheets are like that now.

I'm not interested in thread count or, as far as it goes, in flannel, microfiber or special high end cottons... Make mine percale. They wrinkle less and I prefer a bed that feels crisp and cool when I get in it... Softness isn't a big consideration for me and if I need extra warmth I can add another quilt...

I had some Ralph Lauren higher thread count sheets I loved, but they wore out quickly.  They came from TJ Maxx, so I wasn't out much money and I still have the matching comforter.
