I can't believe how long it took me to figure this one out. My plastic spatula kept sticking to morning eggs. So I sprayed Pam on it as well as the pan. Better late than never I guess, it's a breeze now. Sheesh!!! Ding, ding, ding!!!!! LOL

Little things sure can make life easier !
I have bought so many things to cook an egg in that it isn't funny. Retrieved a one-egg copper fry pan with ceramic interior and it truly cooks without sticking. Simple wipeout with a paper towel or dishcloth. Cooks verrrry quickly !

One I came about recently that I didn't realize everyone did was use my Turkey Baster to remove the fat from my Ground Turkey or any meat while cooking.
My electric tea kettle has become our best friend, we use it all the time for simple foods such as making Stove Top, Instant Mashed potatoes, Oatmeal and so many other things. No need to waste time withe stove or microwave.
I use my vaccuum cleaner to help me clean my stove to suck out any crumbs from under the grates before I scrub.
Freeze left overs into individual portions for an easy lunch.
I'm sure I have many more ideas.

If we're talking cooking...
Jeff Smith: "hot pan, cold food = foods don't stick"
That great advice has stuck with me over the years! And I never have to scrape and soak and torch off anything!
Whenever I'm baking chicken or meatloaf or whatever in the oven, I always preheat my cooking pot/dish in the oven, too. Same thing with anything stove top....heat the pan first! (even my non-stick)

When using cooking spray, I spray it over the sink to keep from getting on the floor. The spray makes the floor slippery, but it also keeps anything from sticking in the sink.

I have found that rectangular/square containers are so much better for storing leftovers or whatever. Works better in your cabinets and refrigerator. Round containers take up too much room. I purchased mine at OXO.

Put a number on the tops and bottoms of all your plastic containers, so you can find matches easily. For example, all cup sizes are #1 top and bottom, all 2 cups sizes are #2 top and bottom, etc.

Oval and round storage containers are the worst because cupboards and freezers are not round. I only buy square or rectangular lock n lock.

This isn't kitchen related, but a leaf blower is great for blowing light snow off sidewalks, driveways, etc.
