I have a candle that wasn't properly allowed to burn down once.

So, one of the wicks won't stay lit.

I've scooped out excess wax and threw it out...hoping to even the "playing field" so-to-speak.  NOT happy about losing that wax!

But, it hasn't made any difference.  

Anyone want to help me rejuvenate a three-wick candle that has lost it's way???

The only thing I can think of is if you don't have them already, get some wicks to have on hand. I actually do have them and have used them when a candle has a wick that goes bad.

You can buy them at Walmart, Michaels, many stores.

Have you thought about wrapping aluminum foil around the outside of the candle (the entire thing and it can even extend above the top edge of the glass)? That should even out the wax, but not sure from your description if that will bury the wick that won't stay lit. Is there wick left or has it burned down to the anchor?

When I've had tunneling, the aluminum foil does the trick perfectly.

I am not sure what brand of candle you have, but Yankee Candle has these round toppers that you put on top of the candle when it is lit. It prevents tunneling.

i only burn bath n body works 3 wicks... i have 2 burning now... once in a blue moon i may have a problem with the candle... but when u first light it, you have to keep it burning so it burns even,, i keep mine lit for about 4 hrs..
