@We rescue cats  Cute pictures but I'm a bit confused as to how the post relates to the category "Home". Is it because you took these pictures and this was at your home? Thanks!

That would fresk me out I even get freaked when I see deer on the roadside

We had many black bears in NJ. You have to take your bird feeders or other sources of food in otherwise bears quickly learn to return to the source.

We live in a rural area we have all sort of wild animals coming around our home
My husband was in the yard with our ( inside ) dogs a couple weeks ago as they came inside I walked by the LR window a huge bear was looking back at me thankfully the dogs saw it and run after it
Bears get in our commercial dumpster in the fall and spring every year they are pretty but I hate them coming so close to our home
We never leave bird feeders out after I saw a copperhead snake at it several years ago
I’m horrified of snakes I do plant flowers for birds and butterflies
Tonight I saw 3 deer in our back yard while cooking supper
They are almost tame they never run when we go outside

@Shihtzursqmom I am not a snake lover either, they always frighten me when I come across them. Normally the bears do not come too close to our house, they may visit the birdfeeder in the photo, but in reality that is about 100+ yards from the house. Our neighbor thinks he has stumbled on the location that this bear is bedding down.
We had a pair of bucks fighting in the front yard this morning, so we know fall is now approaching! I jokingly refer to the deer as our fall gardening partners, we have 6 dozen hostas planted around the house, the deer take care of 'cutting' them back for me each fall! LOL!!

@We rescue cats it’s surprising we’ve had as many as 25 deer in our yard at a time but they have never bothered a long row of hostas we have
They do eat vegetables except for tomatoes and peppers
They eat everything else we’ve tried to grow
something is eating our grapes and blueberries also
We’re not sure if it’s deer or bears
BTW I rescue dogs

Rescuing dogs is wonderful, any rescuer or rescue volunteer or contributor is a fine person with a huge, caring heart. We rescue only older cats that are in peril of euthanization or homelessness. As to who is eating what. . . the deer and the bears will eat most of the plants we grow. Except for the 40 lavender plants we have next to many of the hostas!! LOL!!!
