@JeanLouiseFinch ---I think I will---unwrapped a bit of it--all rolled up with pattern inside---but it looks better than the website----was a little hesitant about buying sight unseen--soo many times that has not worked out--but this time it did. the pad is coming on Wed and DS is coming Sat to help with the unrolling!!

@bargainsgirl --well I did buy a pad just to be safe--both for the floors and the rug itself--have never had an area rug this large--8 x 10--and never had a hard surface flooring thru out --always had wall to wall carpeting. Got a 1/4 inch pad, so nothing very cushy. Just enough to protect.
