We have a great room that is 33 ft. long by 20 ft. wide with around a 12 ft. ceiling. The ceiling is a popcorn ceiling and we want to change it. Our home is a blend of country farmhouse with colonial touches. The room is a little dark. We are thinking of doing a wood ceiling (light to med. wood). Also thinking about beadboard. Oh, and the walls are off white. We don't want to paint whatever we put up there but are willing to paint the walls. Other colors are a colonial burgundy russet kind of color with deep blue grey and mustard/wheat colors. It comes off somewhat on the colonial side and I like that, but don't want to get too rustic!
