What a beautiful setting. I cannot fit the food on my table if there are more than four people. It is not very wide. I have a peninsula between the kitchen and dining room so the food goes there.

@stevieb , Meant to say the ladderback chairs are different. On the ladderback the slats point is pointed downward. I know that is a horrible sentence. My description is so poor. I'm sorry. LOVE the table. Runner perfect color for Autumn

@sligo  The ladder back chairs are lovely, I agree, and yep, they are a bit different from most we'd see. I love the color of the woods on both the chairs and table. The table is pretty too. I like that it looks well used and isn't a perfect specimen. These are probably not pieces I would have selected going out on my own to choose  furniture, but somehow, in this vignette, they're just perfect. I thoroughly enjoy the overall look of this space...

Reminds me of my farmhouse table, minus the beautiful centerpiece. I often have a puzzle going on one end of it.

@Boomernichols

It does looks cozy and home-like doesn't it... Always a welcome look for me but especially given this year, I think we can all use a nice warm setting... Oh and dinner will be served at around 7:00...

@NickNack I have those dishes too and the teapot and water pitcher and about all the serving pieces. I use plain white dishes for every day, and these for casual but nice company.

They are really my go-to set!  You can't beat them!

It sounds like you have some beautiful pieces @Sooner .  I'll bet you have a beautiful table setting when you use it.  So many people get tired of their dinnerware.  I've never gotten tired of this.
