@January121  @SXMGirl   I can only guess that either a buffet is set up close by or the centerpieces are removed to create a space for the food... My bet is on the buffet because even with the centerpieces gone, unless dinner is sort of meager, there's still not a lot of space...

@sligo  Thank you for your kind words, they're much appreciated. As for the centerpiece, I had to enlarge the picture and to tell you the truth, I'm still not sure of all the different contents... It looks like some pretty yellow tree seed pods, some dried hydrangea along with several types of red and yellow plant material as well as some sort of possibly dried evergreen for background... The centerpiece appears to be two-fold, the second part consisting of what seems to be a white cake stand topped with various pretty and colorful gourds...

I know you didn't post this for the dishes @stevieb , but I was glad to see them.  I think the centerpiece is beautiful but makes the table a little crowded.
