Wonderful! I have the little trees on each side of the fireplace also. I enjoy the little lights year round.

Since you have the photos up of the dead, it ties into Dia de Los Muertos  leave them up!!

The owl is a cute touch.  And is that you in the Pearl frame? She looks like a ginger 🤗 

I love it!  Do you host a party with family and friends? You really should!

I thought the owl was a raven so I edited my post but then... I found the raven!! 🐦‍⬛

@vermint  I've always said that I like to decorate like the Haunted Mansion ride at Disney or Spooky and elegant so it makes me happy that you saw that!

@threecees That owl lamp was from Walmart years ago and cost $15.00! (I don't think they sell it any more) but the minute I saw it, it was in my cart! haha

@Ainhisg I don't go as all out for Christmas but I enjoy it as well and will share when I do....thanks so much!

@tiny 2 I mentioned my lit trees because my brother in law thought it was funny that I had "Christmas Trees" in my Halloween decor. haha

I didn't think anything of having them up because they're always up.

I'm with you....I enjoy those trees and twinkly lights all year long!

@KBEANS Thanks, good to know about Dia De Los Muertos...I'll use that as my excuse to leave them up for at least another day. haha, I'm tired after staying up late and celebrating Halloween (movies and junk food with DH). We do have a few family, friends and neighbors stop by but no parties. That is me and DH from a year we went to a 1920's themed dinner.

You mentioned my collection of portraits, well, I don't know if you remember but recently we were discussing dog plates, well that's where I hang my dog plates the rest of the year....I just change them out.

We had a guy come in to fix our stove yesterday and we have a6 foot upside down black Halloween tree with purple lights and he thought it was cool and he aed me can i take a picture of that. I said sure go ahead.

@GingerHead ,  your idea of hanging your portraits where your dog plates normally are--  perfect!   Then you don't even have to worry about adding more nail holes, and dealing with new positioning, etc.

My husband is my handyman and he hardly ever notices anything like that! haha
