Need Advice, all kinds accepted.

In October we sold a motor home that has been in our backyard for 11 years.   Total piece of moldy, falling apart, not running, flat tires, etc.  A real mess!!!!  Sold for $1000.00 CASH.  Took the cash to bank, it was all good.  When they came on the weekend for title and MH, they said they couldnt get it out until Wednesday.  Wednesday came and went, called them, several times, came over a couple of times gas, battery. It is still in the backyard.   Called the Sheriff's dept. They came, took a report and phoned purchaser to get it out.  It is still here. 2months now.   Any ideas on what to do?????????-----------tedEbear                    THANK YOU

Try taking them to small claims court . Say you want paid for storage and probably the judge will agree with you. They will have to move it or pay you.Did they at least get the title changed over to their name?

Yep, go file a suit in small claims court.  It's pretty simple, and the judge will find in your favor if they have the title.  It's a mild inconvenience, and it will be worth it to get your backyard back.

I imagine you could call a wrecker and have it towed to a storage lot like any vehicle illegally parked on your property.   If the owners don't claim it,  the storage company can sell it at auction.   I trust the title is in their name?

THANK YOU for the replies.  I hadn't thought of small claims yet.  The towing company can ONLY remove it if vehicle owner is here with title and keys.  Judge Judy is a idea I hadn't thought of yet.

They did call a towing company out and the tow truck sat there for at least an hour.  I am going to send a certified letter telling them storage charges will be applied.  They have not registered in their name yet.  The Deputy Sheriff said it is still registered in the family trust. It is not.  That was taken care of the 2nd week.    Thank You again!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!
