The fireplace and linens are so pretty!

I prefer a white or pale blue, but I like the green! I think the green and yellow are a bit much together but it works.

The furnishings and decor works well. Thanks for posting @Jersey Born

I'm no fan of green anything (well $$$ is OK) and I love yellow but only like it when it's a pastel used in home decorating so this is a definite NO for me. To be honest, except for the wainscoting, there really isn't a single thing here I like.

I think the room is charming. I especially love the bedding! I'd have to paint the ceiling white though.

Such a striking room. My first thought was wow that's unusual, very pretty and bold! Maybe someone with seasonal affective disorder lives there. haha

I love it in someone else's home but couldn't live with it myself. I like a calmer palette.

I do love how they brought the paint color down onto the wall to meet the wainscoting. I'm trying to imagine it with a different colored ceiling (like someone said previously) white or a pale blue, maybe?

I like the room, but I wouldn't use those colors in my home.

I think the idea of painting the ceiling a complementary color is a good idea. And I like that the ceiling color comes down along the top of the wall.

We're so used to having walls one color and ceilings one color. We don't have to be so locked in, and I applaud the thinking out of the box. If I ever chose to implement that idea, I'd use more subtle colors.

I had the kitchen in a past house painted gray, & I had the bottom trim painted the same color. Most of the time trim is stained or white. But, making it the same color made the kitchen look larger & taller.
