Great window and pretty tree. I would remove some of the furniture and stuff in the room to give it a more open and airy look.

Beautiful tree and window! 

I like the polished wood coffee table and the lamp table. Not loving the other furnishings or accessories. I really dislike the animal skin rug and the large brown rug.

I love the room itself, but I'd have to change the room color from that bright white.  I don't care for the red holiday touches with the white walls.

Agree @RedTop .  Knowing that you are dealing with your mother's decline made your memories especially poignant.

I'm one who moves my tree to different spots each year, but if I had that room, the tree would go there every year.

I love this room and tree. The red really makes it festive. I like they way they sprinkled even more red on the two table tops. Just pure simple elegance.
