Re: Gravity Free Chair/Recliner

We have the previous version of the XL (maybe 2 years ago) - in the jacquard print. They are heavy so don't think you can take it to the beach easily like they show in the presentations. One of the canopies stays up the other gradually sinks down. At 5'2"" it is large for me. My husband is about a foot taller and it is ok for him (his feet stick over the bar at the end when it is reclined). I am glad we have them. I did get old bed pillows with dark shams to help with them being too large for me in the back. We use them on our sun porch so they are not outside in the elements. We have to tighten up the screw every once in awhile to keep it from un-reclining. Is this the kind of info you were looking for?

Re: Gravity Free Chair/Recliner

Thanks for your response. I was going to use them camping. We have a motorhome and would use them to relax. I heard a customer call, she was going to bring to gd soccer games and I thought we had a long walk from car to get to games; too heavy for that.

Re: Gravity Free Chair/Recliner

I've had gravity-free chairs since the original La Fuma chair which I bought for use in the family motor home. Considering how sturdy they are, I don't think they're heavy at all and I'm old with a back problem. I can easily carry mine. The QVC chairs are enormously overpriced. As we progress toward spring, every store in town will have them at a much better price and no S&H. Every year Walmart and Kohl's has carried them. I think Lowe's and Home Depot had them too. They are wonderfully comfortable.

Re: Gravity Free Chair/Recliner

I was checking online prices, and I think 80$ is fair. Also the reduced shipping at 11$ on first $5.50 for second seems ok. Thanks for responding everyone. $80 a chair seems high for camping chairs, but i think we will enjoy the comfort. The ezpay is nice.

Re: Gravity Free Chair/Recliner

I purchased 1 of the TSV Bliss XL chairs last year and regretted not getting another one. About 4-6 wks later they offered the same chairs again and I ordered 3 more. Our dd and her dh love them.

The style of chair is so comfortable and not lightweight so doesn't blow around the yard when it get windy. Ours have held up well. The chairs on clearance are a fair price but I really don't know how well they are made. I know the Bliss chairs ,IMO are extremely well made compared to ones at WM and Kohl's.

Re: Gravity Free Chair/Recliner

Hmm, I got a couple just like that about 5 years ago, on sale for $49/each, at King Soopers. Mine just don't have the canopy which is OK because I just use them on my balcony.

Re: Gravity Free Chair/Recliner

I noticed that QVC has changed brands for these chairs. When Rick was sitting on it, it appeared that the seams were straining. The material seemed to be thinner. I like the one I got about three years ago even if it is heavy.
