@lolakimono Before self cleaning ovens, I used to soak the oven racks overnight in the bathtub with Borax. The next day, the stuff just wiped right off.

And the most important thing is my gd said you can make slime with it.

I watched my granddaughter make "slime."  One of the ingredients was Borax!

I recall Grandma's box of 20 Mule Team Borax!

 

A co worker makes her own laundry soap and adds borax.

 

Be cautious with the recs for cornmeal as a carpet cleaner. Many a bug loves cornmeal!
