@Jk9 You are so very inspiring! Thank you!
Yes, I have Lenox china. I scrimped so hard to buy it, a few pieces at a time and not parting with it. 🥰
I've replaced the Lenox blown stemware I had with Gorham lead crystal stemware, much more durable at the table.
Easter this year was casual and I didn't use it but using it more regularly, yes, I think I will be doing that.
My Gram would have me set the Sunday dinner table with her china she inherited from her MIL. It seems we have forgotten Sunday dinners in America, whether you attend services or not.

@Snowpuppy Thank you ! I remember giving up some other things to buy that china and I think it makes me appreciate it even more. I try to enjoy the beauty around me and appreciate what I have. Sunday dinners were special in our home growing up and the meals were not the usual "basics" we had other days.

I have the Franciscan Desert Rose pattern and I love it. I use it every day and display pieces in my kitchen and hutch in the dining room.

My one cousin somehow got my nana's china when I was still under 15. Not sure how that happened. My mother had a full set of Wilton armatele dishes. I hated the metal on metal with the flat ware. I have a few pieces of it (of course the platter @Carmie )
I don't have any fine China sets but I do have some wonderful serving pieces. I use Corelle daily, but I have several pieces of beautiful Polish Stoneware. (Maybe 10 pieces) A few Pfaltzcraft holiday pieces. I have one very old piece of old Portugual China, a vegatable dish with a lid, left to me from my sisters MIL. OMG, back in the day they entertained lavishly.
I could open a shop. A few very old tempation pieces, many used for serving. A few that crazed badly, I use as plant holders. But most of my temptation pieces are from 15 years ago, not any newer pieces. Except a few of the firework floral lace that crazed. We no longer entertain much, but that's ok. Just mostly family if anyone anymore.
I can't even imagine all the China around that the younger generation wants no part of. I know several people that mostly use paper plates daily. We may use an occcassional paper plate, but I'm using my pieces every day and they make me happy.

I have a beautiful Lenox pattern that I registered for when we were engaged. I hardly ever use it, but when I do take it out, I still absolutely love it.
I use it a few times a year, but oddly enough, it's not during holidays or times when I have a lot of company. I take it out when I have small family dinners with just my parents or in-laws. Other than that, it's put away.

I have my mother's china. Getting a china set was a very big deal for her as she grew up very poor and she loved to entertain. I use it whenever friends or family are over. I can't bear to get rid of it. I don't use it for everyday because it's not microwaveable as it has a silver rim.

I have Corelle dishes now, and they are all I use (unless I use paper plates).
I got the plain white Corelle and love it,

I had my bridal registry at Strawbrigde and Clothier and shortly after i picked out the items on my registry they stopped carrying my china pattern. Well I had a fit and complained all the way to the top until they relented and would honor orders of my china.
Lord knows why I did b/c I think I might have used my china once in the almost 29 years I have been married. There is just not any opportunites to use them. I have hosted Christmas at my house since my oldest DD was two but my father bought me a Christmas patterned stoneware service for 20 to use which I do every year.
I am also storing my mother's china in my basement. I was thinking of passing it on to one of my daughters but who knows if they will want it.
