One thing I've learned here is buy what you love!

I'n not one for shopping Big Box, mass produced stores, I picked up this American Standard double bowl kitchen sink at a Habitat Restore type of place. New, still in the original carton.  Likely from 1989 or so.

DS thought I was nuts to make the trip but he came along to lend a hand.

Use a gentle cleaner, a liquid one. There is a reason colored sinks and tubs and toilets went out of style (the color fades or decreases with harsh cleaners and use). But I like the hot red color! I do dislike one side being smaller as I just got rid of one like that. Couldn't wash dishes in the small side as nothing fit and the original owner put the disposal in the small side. We've since replaced that sink with a traditional Kohler with both sides deep. The other one fell down out of the hole because they didn't install it properly, so we said why keep what we hate and isn't useful?

Detachment isn't the absence of love but the ability to take care of yourself in the midst of someone else's choices.

Never mind the haters! I love it! A double sided sink is a must for me. One side a disposal the other not. I also adore red in any decor! It's every season. I despise the ugly boring gray everything, everywhere. Great find! Throw in some lemon yellow, black, white..any color! I'm envious!

I had that same sink years ago in burnt orange-it matched the wallpaper color and I kind of miss it.

Kohler had a similar color called Tiger Lilly in that era. Beautiful tangerine orange. I saw only 1 pop up on ebay. Needed refinishing, $4,000 as is.

I would have to see this in the actual kitchen before I could render an opinion. I'm not sure about this one.

@Snowpuppy  Wow. Mine would have been in the 70's some time. I think it was Kohler. Never showed any signs of wear. Maybe it's mine!! lol

This is the ebay one I believe. Not mine. Mine was divided as your picture.
