Gingerbread House Comparison

Just unpacked my GB Houses, the one from Valerie and the one from Cracker Barrell. The houses themselves are identical except for the color of the house. Valeries is the brown color of gingerbread and the one from CB is white. Other than that the decorations on the house are the same and they are the same size. The CB house seems to have a lot more glitter on it.

Comparing the lighting on the 2 houses. Valeries house is run on 3 AAA batteries and is a very faint light which give a bluish cast and to me very hard to see that it is lit up. The house from CB has the plug in light and it really lights up the house nicely. The only thing on that is I can see the light bulb thru the door so at that area there is a harsh light.

I will wait till Mr. Crazy gets home and see if it is possible to take the battery compartment out of Valeries house and put in a plug in light. It does have the cutout in the back of the house for the cord.

I love both houses and now must make a decision on which I am going to keep. I really like the color of Valeries best, manly because my house from Penneys is the white one but a little smaller. I also really like the house from CB and it is over $40.00 cheaper after I paid S&H on Valeries.
