If you own #H201708 (Pedicsolutions Gel Memory foam topper) and have used it for awhile, I'd would appreciate your opinion. Do you find the gel is cooler than non-gel Memory foam? Does the topper stay properly positioned or tend to "shift" around?

Any information you can provide (pro or con) is much appreciated.

I don't have the Q topper but have one I got from Overstock that I love. One side is gel, the other is plain. I've tried both sides and can't tell the difference. I've had lots of toppers and a memory foam mattresses and have never found any to be hot. I prefer to buy from Overstock because they list the density of their foam and I wanted one that was firm.

Here's my secret for shifting mattresses of any type. Anywhere they sell rugs, you can buy white felt-like slightly sticky pads made for area rugs. I buy one 3 X 5ft and put it under the shifting mattress or pad. The sticky doesn't transfer and the pad is re-positionable. Believe me, nothing moves!

kachina624,

Thanks for the info. and the great hint to use a sticky pad underneath! I will check Overstock's selection and compare to PedicSolutions. By the way, what thickness did you purchase? I've read that a 3" or 4" is ideal with a #3 density.

Thanks for your help.

It's item #14950311. I tried a 4"" and found for me it was too soft. The 3"" was perfect for me. I got a sale notice from Overstock this week. Use 231739 promotional code for an extra 7% off and free shipping over $50.

kachina624,

After much research and deliberation, I've decided on the PedicSolutions Gel Memory Foam topper. The one from Overstock that you suggested was also very nice, however since I have a King size bed, it would be a chore for me to flip it over to take advantage of both sides.

Thanks so much for your help and suggestions.

Blessings!
