Re: Garbage Disposal Question

@mistriTsquirrel  I have recommended this website before, but not particularly for garbage disposal repair.  Anyway, check out appliancepartsprodotcom.  It is a very large site, not the easiest to navigate, but worth the effort, I promise.  It's one of the very few sites where I recommend creating an account to use.  It's worth it.

We've had trouble with a clothes dryer and the information, concise and easy to follow installation videos and manufacturers' parts (delivered inside 24 hours, no less!) have saved us hundred$, no kidding.

Good luck!

Thanks, @IamMrsG!!  I think that's the same place I got a dryer part before.  It was inexpensive and came in the mail very quickly, and their YouTube video showed me exactly how to repair the problem myself.  Actually, YouTube is how I found them.  I would not hesitate to order from them again.

Too bad they don't have furnace parts.  I could use a new flame censor.

My dad used to come over and do this stuff for me.  Now I have no one to help me, but I'm learning a lot.  This squirrel brain isn't too bad at figuring stuff out...usually...

Re: Garbage Disposal Question

The problem is they make everything out of plastic.  Plastic just don't hold up.  Ours was only 5 years old whe it started leaking. I miss the good old days when things lasted for years   :0(
