This charming photo instantly made me smile.🥰 Now THAT was good HEARTY, stick to your ribs cooking!😊 No preservatives, no GMO! I do not know what year this is, but It takes me back to seeing my dear grandmother❤ and her ALLLL day cooking! I even remember her stirring with one hand, and the other on her waist.😁 My hips, and heart shudder to think of it today, and I could not eat it,  but that was REAL food! Sadly, those days are looooong gone!!!👍

There was a lot of LOVE in those pots!!!💝

@Foxxee    Great picture!  Reminds me of my mamaw standing over the stove cooking a delicious meal.

Im trying to figure out what it is she could be making.  At first I thought it was dough for the lattice on top of a pie.  However, now I'm thinking it's dumplings.  Maybe I'm just craving those things too.😊💝💕

Despite the fact that our grandmothers didn't have modern cooking equipment , the food was always delicious and a treat.  My Sicilian grandmother was a master at making everything Italian and my Slovak grandmother was an excellent cook treating us to her very tasty meals of her culture.  Boy do I miss all that food.  All the time and effort they put into cooking was done with much love.  I am glad I live in an area which is diverse because I still can enjoy a selection of foods and I do!!!!!

@Foxxee  My grandma even wore an apron like that. Those were the days.

Sorry but the one living grandmother I had was a terrible cook.  Not everyone's grandmother is what most people think about.

Brings back many memories of my dear grandmother. She was like me in that she didn't really enjoy cooking but when she did, she put her heart and soul into it!!
