@just bee

Thanks for the heads up about Twinings new version of lapsang souchong

@Oznell

From what I understand, the best Lapsang Souchong comes from The Kent and Sussex Tea and Coffee Company, located in Kent, England. They ensure the distinct smokiness of each infusion from first to last sip, going above and beyond to impress casual drinkers and connoisseurs alike.

This is a family-run business, where every product that they have is packed fresh to order for quality and consistency.

By the way, there are reports that British Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill (1874-1965), also enjoyed Lapsang Souchong Tea

Oh, dear, @just bee ,  that discontinuation by Twinings is the stuff of terror!

Thank you so much for coming to the rescue, @alliswell , with your kind referral to what sounds like a promising alternate source.  Making a note of it...

I do have a small, diminishing supply, but can see I'll need to take action.  Even though I drink it sporadically, and not continuously, it would not do to be caught flat-footed without it.

Edited to add:   @Lucky Charm ,  if you were to do such a flower border, fab!   Even with marauding dogs.  Since you are subject to salt air, I wonder if that has an effect on flowers.  But think of all the great, flourishing coastal gardens, so...
