Front Door Color

I'm thinking about painting our front door. Our home is beige vinyl siding, we are going to paint our shutters black. I'm thinking about a Moss Green for the front door. It's been white since we moved in four years ago. My old house was brick and I painted the door a deep grape purple. It got a lot of comments. The funniest was "Is your door scratch and sniff?"
