I love the kitchen!  The blue is so pretty.  So many kitchens you see on t.v. are so boring.  No color at all.  I love me some color -- it's cheerful and inviting!!!

What a beautiful vacation rental.  I think I hear the beach calling my name.

That's the thing I like too, @stevieb --  the blue of those cabinets.  It's a really good blue-- not too light, not too dark, almost a kind of smoky French blue.  Nice!

@Oznell,  It's an enticing and versatile shade. Blue and I are having a moment anyway, which is very odd. I was very into blue when decorating my first grown up apartment but have moved far away from it over the years. Suddenly, it's making a bit of a comeback, if a limited one.

I wish I could go back to my blues but I am totally awash in greens and neutrals now and want to sell my house and not put a bunch of money into it that I won't get back.  My DH does have a very pretty blue bathroom and I have the paint to paint it a color near that moodiness in this picture, a real moody but from the cadet family.  The rest of my house is neutrals and green (I do think green is a neutral too). Oh, well.  Maybe in my next life.

@Nonametoday  Green is a favorite of mine and in fact my main living areas are painted a pretty shade of green. Keep in mind that blue accents work beautifully with green! I do love that blue paint in the kitchen but would be unlikely to paint one of my main living or sleeping areas blue. I am, though, using a lot of blue right now in pillows and decorative accessories. I have a large collection of blue and white and have chosen to really highlight and cluster it and am enjoying the look. I agree, depending on the shade, green works with just about everthing!

Very nice.  I especially like that it's not cluttered with a lot of stuff.

@Nonametoday For many years I had the most beautiful dark green crescent shaped sofa. I loved it. It was sort of formal but worked with whatever other pieces I had in the room. It was a well made piece by a very good furniture company and was also very comfortable. Ultimately, it became worn and while I'd always hoped to have it recovered, true to form, doing so would have cost more than a new sofa, so I went with new and have always looked back with a bit of regret. I too love green.
