That's what I was thinking, that it is an amazing kitchen for that era.  I don't recall seeing kitchens like that in that period.  It's a "today" kitchen.  Perhaps it was modeled from a high-end restaurant, but it is lovely and I can see immaculate it looks and I think Frank was the same in his personal hygiene and attire. I always thought he loved Mia because she was simplitic, clean and pruned well without any excess body weight or hair.  Just Mia.
