I think if the inner mirror frame could be painted in black, the same as the black lacquer of the outer frame, it might be better. I would also make other changes.

It's interesting. I like it but not for me, personally. I had a hard time on my decision because I was so thrown off by the rest of the decor which I don't care for and I don't think it works together with the art piece.

It fits this room very well, not sure if I really like it or not though. I would probably need to see the entire room. I don't dislike it for sure.
