Hope it isn't too much MTH and you are feeling better soon. You have the whole weekend to rest up and then back to work on Monday.

Thanks JPC. I hope not too. Was watching Dennis Basso's show and loved his Santa. I refrained from buying anything, but he was a beautiful Santa. Of course, that throw looked beautiful too.

I'm sure he is comforted by that. My DH enjoys the décor but is growing weary of the UPS guy and all the boxes to take to recycling. And when my DD and I go shopping for the day, I know he is wringing his hands waiting to see what I bring in. Christmas and Harvest are my weaknesses, not bad rest of year.

lucymo - every Wednesday night DH cuts up boxes to set out with the garbage for recycling, and I have to listen to the grumbling, but fortunately due to unpacking tons after the remodeling was done, he isn't aware of all of the new things that have arrived in the past months.

Hi mousiegirl, I'm betting he can spot a QVC or other retailers boxes at 500 yards.

LOL the finance guy helping us with my retirement stuff said he had to bring all of his ""guy"" pilot stuff to show off at his office -- because his wife said it get's in the way of ""the bunnies"" at home! (his wife said!)

This shows, to me, the true nature of the beauty of these picks... they are long and look as if ice has crystallized on each strand. Do you think these are probably the silver ones? or the white ones?

Good Morning Loves. I did get to watch most of the show last night and although I do enjoy the decorating shows, I was disappointed that the new bay leaf picks that were supposed to be on sold out prior to any presentation. I had ordered a silver set sight unseen hoping to be sure once I had seen the presentation. I also have the white, champagne and copper picks in like the ones you show above in the vase. I have wanted the silver but they sold out before I got to them (hence ordering the silver last night). The ones above are the silver. In case you were wondering, the white cedar picks have more of a "flocking" texture to them. Actually not sure I really like the white ones. They are not the same as the other colors in that style pick.

By the way....I took the copper cedar picks and put them in a pitcher I had and use them with the Fall display just like they did above. They are a really pretty color.

I got the bronze even though Lisa said it was a deeper gold. I'm still not sure if I really want or need them though. I really liked the big white picks so may change if they stay available. I just need to stop with the Christmas décor.

These pictures make me do an "I WANT!" LOVE the picks in the glass, as shown... you must be enjoying yours, MTH. I have been growing to love my beaded fruit wreath with every turn. It "glows" with a soft sheen in the part-darkness of our fam. room. Such enjoyment!
