I just ordered some Luminara 'Birch' pillar candles at Pottery Barn. They are having a terrific sale on them with FREE S&H!

The only downside is that they are on backorder...so currently 2 sizes won't be shipped til 1/31/2015 and the other 2 sizes on 3/23/2015. I ordered them even though I can't use them til Spring. To me, they are season-less anyway and can be used all year round.

I just thought I'd give a HU for those interested and who love a woodland type of look

I bought three small birch ones when they were on 20% off with free shipping back in the summer. It took me almost six months to get them. They arrived just last week. In fact, I almost cancelled the order last month when I saw the new December shipping dates, but the customer service rep. had more information showing that mine were going to ship in November. Whew!!! Now, I can use them this winter.

I'm glad you got your candles! I'm in no hurry to get them, just as long as I got them at a great sale price of about 30-35% off (depending on the size) with the FREE S&H, I'm happy. I have plenty to decorate with. I got the woodland scene lights recently from Kirklands and Sturbridge village (different sizes and shapes between both sets). They will go wonderful with them in a vignette next winter!

Just an added FYI, for those that have placed orders with PB recently, there were pkgs of 3 $10/$50 in each order you placed...2 of them are for most purchases and 1 is for PB 'kids' purchases.

Since I placed 2 orders recently, I wound up with 2 pkgs of the 3 cards with coupon codes...

So I was able to use 3 of the $10/$50 codes for my order and it brought the savings to over 40% off! That's AWESOME for Luminara candles!

I'm sure they are available in the stores too...just might be limited/sold out...would vary from store to store. For example, even though the antler napkin holders were sold out online, I was able to order them at a PB in Colorado that had them and they shipped them to us. The closest PB for us is 65 miles, so I order online...HTH

I really like these birch candles. I think they can be used in so many different styles of decor and can be the anchor of many different seasonal vignettes. Especially fall and winter decor, but really usable in spring and summer too.
