I passed on this set. The price is good but I prefer my luminara candles. I recently ordered 6 more luminara candles and they are great. I have so many now and I use the remotes around the house

Can you use a remote with any of the luminaras as long as they have a timer mode? I never have figured that out. If so, I want to get a remote. Another thing I don't understand though is if you have a bunch of candles all around your house, how can you control it so only a few in a certain are turn on using the remote instead of all of them?

Happy Daze, I just saw your questions. The lumainara candles must be remote ready and set to the ON position. Then you can control the remote up to 20 feet away whether the candle is high on top of a shelf or in another room! My remote (purchased for $7 on Amazon) covers all the candles throughout my house. Yes, I have to get up and walk around into different rooms but I can control the remote from up to 20 feet away. Sometimes my remote turns multiple of them on at once when I hit the ON button since they are near each other. Just keep hitting the ON button on the remote to turn as many candles as you want on (direct it at the candle) and the OFF button aimed at the candle you don't want lit.

wow 20ft away?? That would be ideal as my ceilings will be that high so some of my niches will be kind of high up there. For $7, I can't go wrong even if they didn't work that high. Thanks for the tip on finding it for that price on Amazon!

HappyDaze, glad you saw my post. Glad I can help. The remote was perfectly new on Amazon and you can't beat the price and I am an amazon prime member so shipping was free! I just got another remote from DH as he bought me some new Luminaras and one came with the remote. Now I can keep one remote on one side of the house and one on the other. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

Awesome! I just ordered it from Amazon too, under $7, can't beat that! Oh what a good idea about two remotes as I will have some in the Great room and some on the other side of the house in the Master bedroom so I would want to keep one in each room. Dang, wish I would have thought about that when I ordered the first one but oh well, still plenty of time since I haven't even got MY candles yet! {#emotions_dlg.blush} Thank you!!

HappyDaze, I am happy for you. You will love the convenience of the remote. Best invention ever! I recently got the shorter Luminara's in icy blue and in ivory and have them in my bathroom on a high cabinet. They look great. Enjoy the candles and the remote

I also posted this in Candles. Received my TSV today and am really disappointed. When off they are blue, one solid light blue. When on the are a white or cream color, you don't see 3 colors as shown.

Hate to pay return postage so I will keep them. Too bad they all work as I could return them as defective.

This is the first CI that I didn't like when I received it.

I think I am pretty intelligent, lol, but I cannot figure why my remote is not working. I also cannot figure out how to open the back to check the battery. There is a little description on the back but for the life of me, I cannot understand what I am suppose to do! Smiley Sad I am pressing, pushing, and pulling everything.
