Re: Fixing window smears….?

@jlkz ..............I googled it and the only probem is that today's ink used likely will come off on hands and surrounding surfuses of the window.

I have Super Cloth which I got from the Q years ago.

I used it up until a few years ago but stopped when I kept noticing " smears " when the sun would hit a mirror.  Obviously, the cloth had some type of chemical in / on it.  So I would never use it on glass....getting it cleaned off the glass could be too much work.

@jlkz  I'm sorry to hear that.  I've had the same cloth for years and never had a problem.  I especially love it for the car windows.  I only use water on it and I don't get it soaking wet.  I find the less amout of water, the better.  I have never "washed" the cloth.  I just use it and hang it to dry.

Re: Fixing window smears….?

Instead of Windex, I use a homemade concoction of water (two cups), white distiilled vinegar (1/4 cup), and liquid soap, like dish soap (1/2 tsp).  It works like a charm. Windex and other cleaners contain wax, which is what causes streaks.
