I really took the time to watch a couple of these shows this morning. I have a new show to watch from now on. I love what JO does on this show and Chip is a hoot, and so talented. What a nice family. I am blown away by the decorating and all she does. I like these shows. Love It or List It, the lady on that is great too. I used to like Candace, from Canada too. Miss her shows. These are great shows for me. I enjoy them a lot.
Others out there who do too? Enjoy them...

Today I finished watching their last episode, and I really enjoyed this series.
I hope they create even more seasons, and their on line web site store magnoliamarket.com has a few items Jo sells which she also decorated with in their Fixer Upper series.
I have included the link to their own web site below, in case it interests you, or anyone else.

Fixer Upper is my favorite HGTV show right now. Used to watch Love It or List It, but got tired of the "drama" whenever she can't do everything she told the owners she would (usually a basement or bathroom re-do). I didn't really like most of the homeowners either!
Love It or List It, Too is no better.
I also like Kitchen Crashers, Flip or Flop and, especially, Rehab Addict. Rehab Addict is different, because Nicole "restores" older homes instead of "renovating" them. She rarely takes down a wall or makes anything "open concept". She tries as much as possible to bring the home back to it's original state. She's done everything from huge mansions to her current project, which is restoring the home her grandparents built in the 50's. It had been out of the family for about 10 years, and she bought it back when it came up for sale.

Thanks for the info. I checked it out and liked it. Many prices are not bad. I love the ideas and think that some I could do from things I have. The ideas also give me a reason to go to flea markets, etc. These trips are a favorite of mine anyway. Dress casually, take small bills , my camera just in case [love taking pixs along the way] and a small chest full of cold water and I am set for the day. Now I just need warmer weather as my high to day will be in high 30s. Hope the sun comes out so it can melt the snow and ice we got this week.

We like this show too. I just bought some things from her online store last week. Great customer service. Shipping is SLOW (expedited shipping was available but was a fortune - like $90).

I can't get into that show for some reason.
I do like the decorating the Property Bros. do to their homes. Just not a big fan of Jo's decorating style.

I love their show. I especially like when Jimmy Don makes a sign with a favorite phrase from the couple. It's such a sweet sentiment...
@Mj12, what did you buy? I would love to visit the Silo's for myself. I would probably need to rent a truck though. LOL

This is my favorite tv show right now and I think Chip and Joanna are just the cutest couple! But... When Chip starts with eating cockroaches and snakeskin, that's when they lose me. That totally grosses me out. ICK. But other than that, I love her decorating and seeing their family life, etc.

@bri20 one of those big wall clocks and a reclaimed wood serving tray. Not that I serve anything but I plan to admire it anyway. : )

I really love this couple. Although I have a difference in taste when it comes to style, I think what she does is beautiful.
Does anyone watch "Good Bones?" I really like the personalities of the mother/daughter team, but their style is way too over the top. Everything they do looks like a Victorian doll house. I cannot imagine a man every living in one of their homes. The rooms look like they should be roped off in a museum in London. I can't imagine anyone but Virginia Woolf or someone's lonely old aunt living there.
