@SilleeMee    Were yours knits like the ones pictures?  I've never had any blanket shed and I've had a ton of cotton knits.  The last one I got at Linen Source when they went out of business.  It looks knit but it's not. It's the best I've had.

Yes, mine looked like the ones pictured. I bought one from Hsn and another one from ShopHQ (Evine it was called at the time). They're nice blankets except they shed like crazy. I hated washing them.

@SilleeMee   I'd have to say, consider the source.  Maybe not the best cotton quality.
