Feeling guilty downsizing family home...

Hubby and I are both 54 and today we checked out a new townhome community ...not the ones for 55 plus....but a new townhouse subdivision in our hometown....I loved the new homes....we have adult children who have moved on to new city apts. and to be honest I am tired of spending every weekend caring for 2 acres of property....grass cutting, weeding, gardening, all the perennial beds...I love the idea of starting over....a brand new townhome....I do feel guilty telling our children who say they love our home because it is an escape to a rural community (our son lives in Brooklyn, NY).....but I am so ready for a new smaller home to care for...allowing my husband and I time to enjoy our weekends more rather than be a slave to our home. How do you deal with this???
